Baptism
Baptism is a way to show solidarity with Jesus and His death, burial, and resurrection. By being baptized, a person is identifying with Jesus' sacrifice on the cross and His victory over death, and is declaring their own commitment to follow Him. Baptism is a way to declare one's faith and commitment to God in front of other believers, and to show that they are a part of the body of Christ.

He writes, “Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.”
Galatians 3:26-27: In this passage, Paul writes that through faith in Christ, believers “are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.” This suggests that baptism is a way to identify with Christ and to become a part of His family.
